I am not a career politician. I can promise that I will not build a movement or revolution of any kind. Instead, I just want to serve my East Side neighbors as best as I can.
I am a mom, a proud grandmother of four little ones, a businesswoman, a grassroot Democrat and a board member of the Peb Hmong-American Democratic-Farmer-Labor Caucus. I came to this country from war-torn Laos at the age of nine, married early, raised 4 children on my own, went back to school at age 42 for my MBA degree and opened my financial consulting business. As a mother of a child diagnosed with Bardet Biedl Syndrome, I learned to navigate county services on my own and became a resource to others. I believe my knowledge and experience will be an asset to the county providing quality service to the people.
My top priorities:
Public Safety, Listening to Residents, Better Access to Services and Mental Health Care, More Affordable Housing, Prioritizing Our Kids, Jobs and Businesses, and Keeping Taxes and Regulations Low, Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Improve the County Government's Green Footprint, Reduce Taxpayer Expenditures
